The only reason we went in there to eat was because of the 4 stars on this app. I haven't been to a chinese buffet with a smaller selection. There was like 10 options there, and that's including the rice and fried rice. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the orange chicken which we ordered on the side was pretty good, they should definitely add it to their buffet food. The only thing I enjoyed from the buffet was their fried shrimp, but when I asked the waitress for the cocktail sauce she said they use ketchup instead!!

Very decent pricing- and the food was fresh and the environment is always clean. Friendly staff and tasty dishes make this worth the stop- lack of a fifth star because they didn't have any mushrooms!

I did it! I found it! The world's most average Chinese buffet. Now to be fair this is the best Chinese food.in town. By far. Dont let the small fact that its the only.Chinese place in town take.away this prestigious honor I am bestowing upon this fine establishment. No in all seriousness it was a perfectly fine Chinese buffet and if your in town and looking for some Chinese then this place will pasify you. The reason I gave it two stars is because everyone else was a little too gratuitous with the stars for this place and a reality check was needed.

Awesome Chinese buffet. Which is usually an oxymoron. And in South Dakota no less. Seriously do yourself a favor and skip your tenth buffalo burger for the week and eat here instead.

I was actually really surprised by how good the good here was- I don't typically think of South Dakota as being a likely source for good Chinese food, but was happy to give it a try and am glad I did! We had the lunch buffet, and the flavors of everything I tried were great. I really appreciated that the broccoli in the beef w/ broccoli dish was still a little firm and not over-cooked to sogginess (like so many Chinese buffets tend to do). Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back if in town again.

Egh... Mediocre. Had lunch with family. The rice is rubbery but if you need a quick fix it is affordable. Not a large buffet.

Good Chinese buffet. The place is pretty divey, but it is very reasonably priced and the food was very fresh and tasty. When I'm traveling through again, I won't bother looking for anyplace else to have lunch.

If you're in Hot Springs, and everything is closed, and you like Chinese buffet, go here. The buffet is pretty small, so it gets refreshed pretty often. Hot and sour soup was A+++ and I loved the cream cheese wontons. Also not to miss is the sesame chicken, and I think the owners know this (it had one of the largest trays in the buffet). Oh, and I think the iced tea is actually BREWED. Not a powder. It was delicious.

Every dish is clearly made with fresh ingredients, because the flavors were all crisp and clean. I had over half of the buffet items and it was all consistently cooked nicely crisp - no limp vegetables here!

Honestly I wanna give it a three and a half it was good (11years old by the way) we went there for dinner to experience different things but the selections are very small, but still good. I had never had chinese before, but it was good for a first thing

This was the perfect place for a filling family meal while on vacation. Everyone left happy. The food was served at the right temperature, each food tasted different (unlike some buffets where everything seems to taste the same) and food was kept fresh. The servers were attentive, giving us plenty of water to drink to quench our substantial thirst. We visited Hot Springs when it was hot and dry outside and this was a great place to relax, refresh and unwind. The price was very reasonable and everyone was very welcoming.

WE absolutely love this place! The owners are great people! We always start with the sizzling rice soup. It's a big enough bowl to easily feed 5 people. Then on to the steamed dumplings, the dipping sauce is fabulous! Next is the main course, our 3 favorites are: mu shoo chicken, orange chicken and broccoli chicken, you can't go wrong with any of these and don't forget their sugar biscuits for dessert. Don't be scared off by the dated decor, the food absolutely makes up for it!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly.
